Laying of 8-inch concrete blocks to the approved pattern, line, level and joint finish. The service is measured as per square metre completed and covers the stated heavy blockwork work only.

What this service includes

  • Prepare the immediate bed, lay the 8-inch concrete blocks, maintain alignment and complete the specified joints.
  • Straight, plumb and correctly bonded masonry with consistent joints.
  • Check the completed work against the agreed location, quantity and finish before handover.

Not included unless agreed

  • Supply of materials, specialist equipment or access systems unless the quotation expressly includes them.
  • Block or mortar supply, structural redesign and rendering are excluded.
  • Repairs or additional work outside the measured task unless separately approved.

Before work starts

  • Provide the approved drawing, schedule or clear work instruction for the exact area.
  • Provide approved wall layout, opening dimensions, materials and ready foundation or slab.
  • Ensure the work area is accessible and preceding work is ready for this activity.
